About Us

REID Contracting, Inc was Incorporated in 2005 and serves both public and private sector clients. Our mission is to provide clients with quality construction services which has resulted in over 80% repeat client business. REID serves Southeastern Wisconsin and is respected for working closely with clients so projects are completed in a timely, efficient manner. From planning through post construction, REID is committed to our clients, projects and teams. We serve our clients by offering acceptable alternatives to environmental and renovation concerns including affordability and material selection. Our many Divisions consist of Environmental, Demolition, Rehab and Renovations.

Our Environmental Division is best known for asbestos, lead and mold services including inspections, testing and remediation (removal). REID works closely with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS) to assure homeowners their concerns, citations and environmental issues are being addressed as quickly and safely as possible. Coordinating the removal of hazardous material with construction crews is only one of our many ways of keeping projects moving and eliminating delays. Mike Shields, Environmental Division Manager, has worked in the field for over 20 years and has strength in working with our clients to assure them all laws and processes are being followed. He is certified as an Asbestos Supervisor and Inspector. Our Environmental crews are all certified as Asbestos Supervisors and attend classes yearly to be updated on all the latest changes in laws and procedures.

Our Demolition Division serves both public and private sector clients. Our services include interior demolition (including, not limited to: electrical, heating/air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing demolition), razing of small buildings, tank removal, environmental inspections & remediation and exterior demolition (manual and mechanical razing of homes and/or garages). Kathy Baczanski, Demolition Division Manager, works closely with Towns, Villages and City Building Inspectors to assure projects are being handled according to their requirements. When necessary we attend Board Meetings with the client to answer any questions on schedule or procedure. Our razing services include coordination of all services, environmental inspections and removal if necessary, pulling of permits, disconnection of utilities, razing and clearing of debris.

Homes for Sale/Purchase – As the Real Estate market has slowed many people are doing extra repairs to their homes before selling. REID will assist you in getting the repairs done quickly and efficiently. We work with a Real Estate Broker who will aid in determining what updates could be made to increase the value of your home and get it on the market. Interested in purchasing a home? Our Real Estate Broker will spend time working with you to find just the right fit. REID can give a hand in estimating the costs of repairs and updates. If you just purchased a home that could use some minor repairs or major renovations REID can complete these with by using a competitive rate. Our entire package includes reviewing the project with the owner, pricing materials, suggestions on ways to save money and installation of products.

The Renovation Division serves both residential and commercial projects. Our services include (not limited to) porches, decks, fences, drywall, finishing, rehabs, door replacement and a wide variety of handyman services. No project is too small or large. Our trained staff will assist in the paperwork to pull all necessary permits and offer additional monetary conscious suggestions. By working with a variety of subcontractors, we offer a “one-stop-shop” approach to projects. This allows us to coordinate and keep projects moving and to minimize any inconvenience.
